What you get

  • The helmet: 1,118 gold contacts on 66 tiles, the hub, a battery of at least 2,500 mAh and five cameras in a printed shell

  • The board files, the parts list and the shell models, on this site for anyone building their own

Checkout is by Stripe. You'll enter your shipping address there. The deposit is in US dollars. Shipping in the US is free. Before you pay the balance, we show the full price for your country, with its sales tax or VAT, and outside the US the shipping and any duty.

How pre-orders work

  • The deposit ($250 a unit) holds your place in line. Units ship in the order the deposits were paid.
  • Refundable any time before your unit ships. Use the link on your order page, or write to the support address on your Stripe receipt. A deposit is refunded to your card at once.
  • The balance is charged only when your unit is ready to ship. First we email you the measurements from the first built units, the final price (not more than $5,000) and the ship date. You then choose to pay or to cancel.
  • The date is an estimate. We expect to ship the first 100 by December 2027. If we can't, we'll email you before then with a new date. You can cancel then for a full refund, and if you don't agree to the new date, we refund you.
